Why we do it

  • Do the basics brilliantly….

    Sounds like such a simple thing to try boast about, right?  Maybe so, but it’s the primary reason that’s helped us grow to where we are today, in fact it’s the reason we came to be.

    Having been a part of the bathroom retail industry since 2007 we became increasingly frustrated, surrounded by either substandard products or good products with a lack of basic customer service, and customers often being fobbed off with scripted responses rather than common sense decisions.  We knew that left a gap for us to create something that we knew was desperately needed, so we spent the next 2 years doing just that….

  • Contemporary luxury without a high-end price tag

    We aren’t trying to break the mould when it comes to design, our
    ranges are some of the most popular designs on the market, so where do we fit in this crowded market?

    Our aim has always been to provide a high-end product but
    without the extortionate markups of some of the big brands, often exceeding their credentials, whilst excelling in all other areas of the service we provide.

    The Aquarius brand starts with quality products, for example A-Grade brass, PVD coatings and industry leading cartridges, tested well beyond the UK and European requirements, many are also WRAS approved (it’s surprising how few products actually have this basic certification!).

  • Guarantees

    We back this up with lifetime guarantees on nearly all our products, often including parts which most other brands exclude.  If you are going to claim a product is good quality, then quite frankly you need to put your money where your mouth is…

  • Team

    The thing that really sets us apart, however, is our team, a group of highly knowledgeable, passionate people who want to help, either advising on which products are best suited for your project or resolving a problem.  More importantly and perhaps uniquely, our team don’t have a script to follow so you are unlikely to come up against red tape and a lack of common sense when contacting us.  All the team have the freedom to make decisions that best suit the situation they are faced with.  We believe this makes our brand one of the best to deal with as a customer, moreover we believe this is the very minimum that you as a customer deserve when choosing where to spend your hard-earned money. The truth is, we like to go way above and beyond this bare minimum… so how do we achieve that?

  • Company Philosophy

    We have tried to create an environment that people feel comfortable in, a place where they feel empowered to make those decisions. An environment where everyone’s voice is heard and everyone makes a difference, every part of the business is everyone’s responsibility. 

    In order to nurture this, we do a lot of activities together,
    including physical charity challenges like the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, the Lakes 10in10 and The Great North Run to name a recent few.  We also often compete in inter-company 10 pin bowling nights, 4 x 4 driving challenges and more recently we held a ProSlotRacing night (think professional Scalextric!).

    We have company lunches every Friday and a very competitive
    retro arcade machine in the break room to make lunch times more interesting.

    You may wonder why this is important to you as a customer?

    Well, our belief is when we create such a fantastic team,
    they will want to make good decisions for the business and therefore ultimately you the customer, it’s one of the reasons our Trustpilot score is so high!
